The setting here is stunning and conveniently located near all attractions.

All the stuff where caring and very very helpful, the breakfast was great with juice, pancake. Location: the hotel was short walk to Mafia Island, the beach and Kilindoni and other nearby restaurants for pizza or burgers. It was just a pleasant stroll away from Dairy Queen, serving fast food.

During my recent stay at Maisara Mafia Beach Lodge, I was blown away by the warm and friendly staff. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The manager even organized daily tours and expeditions for me, making sure I had an unforgettable experience. Despite being outside of whale shark season, I was fortunate enough to swim with a whale shark during a snorkeling trip arranged by the lodge. The food at Maisara was always fresh and delicious, and the property was well-maintained with clean rooms and facilities. This was undoubtedly one of the best accommodations I experienced during my trip to Tanzania.

While the rates at Maisara Mafia Beach Lodge were sometimes on the higher side, they were in line with other options on the island. Additionally, I wish the menu for lunch and dinner had been provided in writing instead of verbally, as I later discovered there were more local food options available.
